Purpose
We are looking to recruit an Ecommerce Operation coordinator for the Imaging Department at Nikon Europe B.V.
The ideal candidate will be joining a rapidly evolving and dynamic European Digital Marketing department within the ecommerce application team. You will manage ecommerce daily operations, customer service interactions, and help set up D2C promotions in our DXP.
The primary responsibility is to support growing D2C promotional activities from an application point of view. In this position, you will work in close collaboration with the Sales, Marketing & Communications, Product Managers and local teams when helping in setting up ecommerce marketing campaigns in the ecommerce backend.
In addition, you will second the ecommerce operation specialist for the order and customer service management. You will be then in daily contact with the Customer Service, logistic and the local finance teams to monitor the D2C orders.
You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of the ecommerce backend system by reporting any adjustment needed that will create more efficiency, facilitate the business, ensure timely and flawless ecommerce promotions.
For this role, you need to bring an attitude of strong service and support towards other departments, the local countries and end customers. You will report directly to the Digital and Commerce platform manager of Nikon Europe B.V.
Main Responsibilities
· Set up eCommerce promotion and vouchering campaigns
· Support D2C order flow management
· Support D2C Call center management
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ecommerce backend system by reporting any adjustment needed that will create more efficiency and facilitate the business
· Serve the countries in their ecommerce application requests
· Troubleshoot any issues that arise and coordinate with customer service if necessary
· Actively monitor the various support channels (eg. Salesforce, Topdesk) and actively follow up on solving issues raised by the support channels
· Act as active resource to the Digital Marketing department for agreed wider DM initiatives or projects in agreement with the Digital and Commerce platform manager and DM Senior Management
Job requirements
Ideal Experience:
Intermediate vocational education in Business Administration (MEAO) complemented with a ecommerce background
- Experience with Optimizely or a similar enterprise e-commerce technology
- Experience with SAP ERP S4/hana systems (you will work with this system)
- Experience with Sales Force
- Experience with authoring web content using enterprise CMS systems, including writing, previewing, scheduling and deploying content
- Experience in a consumer electronics and/or consumer goods organization
- Good understanding on ecommerce principles and best practices
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities
- Ability to define, plan and work according to priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of agile processes, Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent communication skills in English (written as well as spoken)
