Join us, and you will be based at our European HQ in Amstelveen, South Amsterdam. A full working week is 37.5 hours, and we have a hybrid policy of 80/20in favour of office-based work because we value real-world face-to-face communication. We pay more than average, including a bonus and fully paid pension plan.

Nikon Europe currently seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Manager Digital Technology for the Business Support Division at Nikon Europe BV HQ. In this position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining global IT security (mainly software) measures within Europe for the Nikon Group. You will collaborate with senior management to develop and execute IT strategies that align with business objectives. Additionally, you will oversee a team, manage their work, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote utilizing Nikon Group Global IT Security, mainly software, measures.
  • Collaborate with the Nikon global IT Security and other NEBV ICT & Security members to provide incident response during emergencies.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
  • Responsible for leading and managing a team, overseeing the team's work and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor Digital Technology budgets.
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance.
  • Together with other team members, deploy, maintain, and operate global IT Security measures and procedures for Nikon's European entities as a Nikon Global Team.

Job requirements

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management or related field.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills (fluency in English required), Other languages desirable.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and tools, such as Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure, SD-WAN, LAN, Windows Server/PC.
  • Project management skills.
  • Knowledge of security protection.
  • Staff management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IT budget management.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract management.
  • Experience in auditing and compliance.
  • Experience in deploying, maintaining, and operating global IT security measures and procedures.
