Nikon Europe BV is responsible for coordinating the marketing and sales activities of Nikon Imaging products in Europe. Within the Commercial Strategy department of Nikon Imaging we are looking to recruit a Supply Planning Specialist.
In this position you will be responsible for the European supply planning, procurement, stock management and sales operation activities and you shall report to the Manager Supply Planning, Commercial Strategy. The primary responsibility is to support sales and budget achievement of the EU sales organizations. You will also work in close contact with Nikon Corporations (NC), the European product marketing team, Nikon European distribution center, suppliers and printing companies.
Main Responsibilities:
Supply Planning and Inventory Management
- Develop and implement sales, procurement, and allocation plans for Europe.
- Monitor product availability and coordinate delivery schedules with Nikon Corporation (Tokyo) and the logistics team.
- Communicate with European sales organizations.
- Manage inventory, generate reports, and coordinate stock control and replenishment.
- Support the development of annual and mid-term sales budgets from a supply planning perspective.
Sales Administration and operations
- Coordinate warehouse activities related to kitting, labeling, and packing instructions.
- Oversee the European internal sales and loan order processes.
Procurement printed materials and 3rd party accessories
- Determine the design concept, perform agency briefing, monitor sample production
- Coordinate logistics process, goods delivery and receipt at the warehouse
- Monitor and supervise logistics
- Perform branding fee reporting and green procurement control processes
Job requirements
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in a commercial role (sales, sales administration, planning, procurement) or in a supply chain function, preferably within a multinational organization and/or Pan-European headquarters.
- Understanding of logistics, procurement, planning, and administrative processes.
- Experience in vendor and contract management.
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written; additional languages are desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work with, analyze and evaluate data.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a Genki mindset.
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and SAP.
- Strong attention to detail and well organized.
- Capable of defining, planning, and working according to priorities and deadlines.
