E-mail Marketing Specialist

Currently we are looking to recruit an E-mail Marketing Specialist for the Imaging Division at Nikon Europe BV. You will be joining a rapidly evolving and dynamic European marketing team. As our E-mail Marketing Specialist, you are the key person to develop and execute a comprehensive e-mail marketing campaign strategy to increase the performance of our e-mail channel and to achieve our D2C targets. We are looking for a positive and driven person with strong organizing and communication skills with ideally extensive experience within a CRM E-commerce driven environment. You will report to the Manager D2C Marketing and collaborate closely with the Marketing Automation Lead, local CRM team, Marketing Communications Manager, and local Marketing teams.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-mail marketing campaign strategy in alignment with our overall CRM strategy to increase the performance of our e-mail channel and to achieve our D2C targets.
  • Execution of weekly operational tasks such as creation of newsletters for multi-country campaigns, align continuously with local CRM team members, handling sending process and alignment on segmentation and e-mail flows.
  • Design compelling, relevant, and user-friendly newsletters that resonate with our target audience and improve target KPI’s.
  • Create appealing email templates and compelling call-to-actions in our campaigns to drive sales and engagement among our customers.
  • Analyze effective strategies and user behaviors to refine and give data-driven recommendations for our E-mail content, layout, and overall strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications, and D2C teams to optimize campaigns, align on content approvals, incorporate educational and inspirational content, and create automated journeys and personalized experiences with the Manager D2C Marketing. 
  • Define content requirements and brief content team, closely align with Communication Manager for overall Communication planning.
  • Nurture long term customer relationships to generate clear signposting in their journey.

Job requirements

Required profile

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, business combined with marketing technologies or equivalent experience desirable.
  • A minimum of 3-year experience in a similar role, preferably in an multi-market environment 
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in other languages being desirable.
  • Experienced with e-mail marketing software ideally SFMC.
  • Strong experience in A/B testing strategies.
  • Have a deep understanding of the customer journey of our audiences to plan timely and relevant e-mail marketing campaigns.
  • Data driven and strong analytical skills.
  • Proven understanding of customer behavior and psychology
  • Exceptional in customer centricity and customer-oriented strategies
  • High-level knowledge of e-mail campaign strategies to nurture audience.
  • Understanding of marketing mix and importance of channel integration & attribution
  • Strong skills in tracking tools like Google Analytics.
  • Ability to convert customer data into insights, advice, and actions.
